Picture Scavenger hunt

Rules you must find listed items and take a picture. There will be two groups, each headed by a counselor.

Each group must have the counselor take the picture.(campers can pose in pics) There may also be a question to answer as well as the picuture.

Once the pictures are collected and checked you will see the next clue.

There is an Item that must be retrieved from this location before we leave…so use your eyes and you wits.

1. The statue of the woman in the south conservatory…who is she?
2. The Greek Marble Urn near the entrance of the Broderie Room…the inscription means?

3. SACRED PLANTS / FLOWERS

   Wheat (Greek “puros”); Barley (Greek “krithe”); Mint (Greek “minthe”); Poppy (Greek “mekon”)

Pic of Any of these plants…who are they “sacred” to?

4.  The the statue that can be found kneeling in the left side bed as you enter Palm Court…who is it?

5. Two different Godly statues each holding a CADUCEUS…name them.

6. Roman form of Percy’s dad…what was Percy’s mom’s name?

7. The stone carving of the year the Hall of Botany was made…what year is it in English numbers?

8. The prettiest flower you can find. What is its name?

9. A picture of your group including your counselor. Pick a good location.

10. A picture of the other group working on their hunt. Don’t let them see you.
